Grade (Class): A/B – one side or top surface (A) of the board is moderately mottled, without branches, cracks and other defects. Small, live knots and point branches are acceptable. The other side or underside (B) is distinctly mottled with well defined tonal differences. On the underside (B), live branches and pronounced fiber knots are acceptable.
